【あらすじ】
治安の悪い街にあり、将来に希望を見いだせない子供たちが通うリッチモンド高校。
そんなある日、成績不振のバスケットボール・チームに元有名選手の卒業生がやってくる。
コーチとして着任した彼は、はじめに学業成績の向上と規律正しい生活態度を生徒たちに要求。
生徒たちは意外な指示に戸惑いながらも、次第に彼の信念を理解するようになる。
